My favorite place to hang out (the farmers market) was missing a place to browse books and make things.. Alas, The Cookbook Nook was born. A market library full of books donated by community members + activities for kids and adults. Have a seat, have a hang, pepper some new ideas into the noggin. In a world of too much tech and not enough focus on the good stuff, the Cookbook Nook is here!

Market Library
A library of cookbooks and other great books from many genres for kids and adults, stocked by donations from community members. Take a seat, browse a book, and get ideas on what to make with all the abundance found at the market. These books are not for sale. Yes, you heard right, THERE IS A KIDS SECTION!

Make your own zines, mini cookbooks and book marks! Art materials are supplied at the main table.

Writing prompts for adults. Flex your brain muscles, see whats on your mind and heart with the help of the magic prompt box.

We are accepting donations of art supplies and activity materials!

Used book sale:
​Guests are welcome to browse and enjoy books that are for sale while they spend time at the market. All books are used, and reasonably priced. If you donate a book to the used book sale, you are welcomed to a 25% off discount on another used book!

Donate a book that has made a difference in your life, for others to enjoy. A library full of great books, donated from community members. How special! Cookbooks, poetry, art books, non-fiction, gardening books, books on business, how-to books.. Yes!
